Great scanner. My favorite scanner yet. Super fast, long battery life, rugged this thing isn't going to break. Immo has a great all keys lost function. No complaints I reccomend you try it for yourself. Very easy to use lots and lots of functions and best of the best service resets.

When function lights come on we are able to easil

We watch the function lights in our car all the time as we try to keep it in tip top condition.We are not mechanics and do not like to be told there might be something wrong with the car when there is an easy explanation.Mechanical things do have quirks, but this helps so much in understanding the things that really need attention and those that can be adjust by the dealer easily.We have this at hand all the time in the storage area of the car so that when we get a trouble indication we are able to diagnose what is wrong and where to go to correct the problem.We had been on the road a number of years ago and the car stopped on the highway.We did not know what was wrong but the indicator lights told us to get it repaired right away.If we had this we could have saved a lot of time and money by being able to understand what was wrong and what repair had to be made.This is a great convenience and also a very informative tool when it comes to taking care of your car!

Scanner/ Code Reader Works Very Well

The scanner and code reader is working well for us. We have five vehicles, three of which are quite new, and two are older. My Jeep is older, and sometimes has dash lights come on. We have taken it to a car parts store to have it read, and they determined that the dash light was connected to the cruise control system, which wasn't helpful. The new scanner has helped us to figure out that the dash lights really mean that there is an issue with a tire sensor, so that will be fixed quickly.To me it's particularly helpful on the vehicles that are driven over long distances regularly. Some areas are remote, and it's disconcerting to have a check engine light (or any of the other dash lights) suddenly light up withoutknowing what is wrong, so we now keep the scanner/ decoder in the vehicle at all times.

Very Handy

Small, lightweight easy to use scanner, even for a car "novice." Which is great because it didn't come with a manual. Navigating the menus is pretty straightforward and this is great to rule out big issues so you can get things resolved quicker. It does not save the codes so keep paper handy to jot them down or type them into google on your phone right away. You could run to autozone and they will do a similar thing for free but it's nice to be able to do it yourself without the trip
